Paint the County Report

“PAINT THE COUNTY” was a great success - and raised in excess of $4600 to donate to Alternatives for
Women, As an Arts on Main first initiative of this size, we should congratulate ourselves. We also
helped to create an exciting ‘stir’ in Picton with 18 County artists painting on Main Street, with caused
both locals and tourists to realize the vibrancy of art in the County.
Our sponsor, Black Prince Winery, raised an additional $500 through the sale of wine, giving $2 from
every bottle sold over the weekend to Alternatives for Women.
So, as Chair of the event, I want to thank all members that participated and donated, along with PECAC
--- you all helped make PAINT THE COUNTY the success that it was.
