One of the most wonderful presents I ever received was a wooden paint box filled with
oil paints, brushes and “how to paint “ booklets.  Unfortunately it took more than 20
years before I had the time to enroll in a community art workshop and begin this
wonderful journey.
Over the years I have studied with many outstanding professional artists in Toronto,
Prince Edward County and The Laurentians, never missing a chance to learn new and
creative applications in the mediums of watercolour, acrylic, pastel and oil.
In 1999 I had the great pleasure of being accepted into the annual “Art in the County”
juried art exhibition, in Prince Edward County Ontario, an honour to be repeated many
more times.  In 2009 I experienced the joy of being awarded a “Jurors Award” from AITC
for my pastel painting “Poppy Passion”, a truly wonderful moment in my life.  I am a
member of the Prince Edward Arts Council and I participate in many art exhibitions and
fundraisers annually.
My love and appreciation of this wonderful Country has lead me on this amazing journey
to create colourful paintings of daring, exciting texture and design that feature beautiful
waterways, landscapes and florals.   There is nothing more gratifying than having a
viewer react to and feel my vision.
